Opis

Tickdown is a countdown watch face that you set up on the watch itself. Open Customize on the watch, pick an event, turn the day, month and year with the buttons or the touchscreen, and the face counts down. No phone needed, although the Connect app works too: type the date as 2027-03-14 and the face tells you plainly if a date or time can't be read. Up to five events, each with a name, a date, an optional start time, a type (race, trip, birthday, deadline or your own) and a yearly repeat. The main event shows a big number with "47 DAYS", a ring that fills from the day you set it up to the event, and a second line of your choice: 6 weeks 5 days, 7 weekends, 46 nights to sleep or 33 workdays. The last 48 hours count down in hours and minutes, the last hour in minutes and seconds. On the day itself the face says TODAY, and the next morning it moves on to the next event by itself. WHAT IT DOES - Days are counted between calendar dates from local midnight: an event tomorrow is 1 day, also across a daylight saving change - No upper limit: above 999 days it shows years plus weeks and days - Yearly events roll over to next year the day after; 29 February falls on 28 February in other years - Count-up mode: days since a date, with the date and a ring to the next anniversary - Race: "Taper in 9 d · 5 long runs left" (taper of 1 to 3 weeks) - Trip: "Pack in 6 d" (1 to 14 days before) - Birthday: "Turns 40"; deadline: workdays left, minus the days off you enter - The other events in small lines below: name and days - Optional: your next calendar item (on watches that share it with watch faces) - Minimal mode with only the countdown and the time, or up to four data fields: heart rate, steps, battery, Body Battery, temperature, sunrise/sunset, notifications, calories - Six themes, accent color per event type, 12/24 h and °C/°F follow the watch - Touch and hold the face to peek at the next event, or a data field to open its widget (API 4.2 watches) - Always-on: time and number dimmed and shifted every minute; on MIP watches the full face stays on, seconds optional - Free, no key, no trial WHAT IT NEEDS - A Garmin watch from the supported list (fēnix 5/6/7/8/9, epix, Forerunner 165/245/255/265/570/945/955/965/970, Venu 2/3/4/X1/Sq/Sq 2, vívoactive 3/4/5/6, MARQ, Instinct 3 AMOLED and more) - Settings on the watch need a watch that offers Customize for watch faces; otherwise use the Connect app - Calendar item, Body Battery and temperature depend on what your watch and phone provide - Training for a race?
