Opis
RinkPulse tracks game, practice, pickup, goalie, open skate, and pond hockey sessions directly from your Garmin watch. Record automatic on-ice and bench timing, shifts, heart rate and zones, estimated skating speed and distance, calories, period detail, goalie stats, and post-session summaries.
Skaters edit goals, assists, plus/minus, score and notes in RinkPulse Companion after import or manual entry. Goalies record saves and goals against on the watch. Estimated indoor speed and distance are clearly marked.
Garmin Connect settings include Buzz at shift target, Gyroscope shift detection (beta), and HR test mode (beta). Gyroscope shift detection is off by default on supported full-memory watches and falls back to accelerometer-only sensing if gyro data saturates detection. Beta recordings include extra FIT diagnostics for tuning; real-game accuracy validation is ongoing. HR test mode is off by default and is for troubleshooting on full-memory watches; shift detection is less accurate while it is on. Keep HR test mode off for normal games.
RinkPulse Companion for Android stores completed watch sessions as local hockey history with shift, period, recovery, heart-rate and trend detail. An iPhone companion is available through TestFlight testing. Optional cloud saves require sign-in; local use does not.
RinkPulse is for personal hockey tracking. Heart-rate, calorie, workload, nutrition, hydration and VO2-related values are fitness estimates, not medical guidance.
