As a passionate sailor for 10+ years, I've relied on my Garmin Fenix watches through countless nautical adventures. Despite their capabilities, I always found myself switching between screens to access all the sailing data I needed in real-time.
With SailEver I now took the chance to create what I and fellow sailors have been missing throught the years: a single, comprehensive datafield displaying all essential sailing metrics at once. I'm excited to share it with the community and look forward to your feedback as we continue to refine this sailing companion together.
HOW-TO INSTALL:
1. Download SailEver from Garmin Connect IQ Store to your watch
2. Create or edit an existing app (e.g. Boating) and create a screen with only ONE data field
3. Set SailEver as the single data field on your screen
... edit the other screens of your sailing app as you like!

SailEver v1.2.1
SailEver v1.2.1 fixes Course Over Ground (COG) on watches with a built-in compass such as the Venu series. COG was taken from the watch's compass orientation, so it showed where your wrist pointed instead of where the boat moves. COG now comes only from the GPS direction of travel, smoothed over 5 seconds. Without a GPS course, or below 1 knot, COG shows "-" and no tack/jibe angle is shown.
