Shot Timer – stage par timer for precision rifle matches A simple, glanceable countdown for your par time, built for PRS-style stages and Hunter-style matches. Start it at the beep and keep your eyes on the target. The watch buzzes and beeps as time runs down, so you always know where you stand without looking. PRESETS • 90, 105 and 120 seconds, shown as plain seconds (120, 119, 118…) • 4 and 6 minutes, shown as minutes:seconds • Your last-used preset is remembered ALERTS (vibration + beep) • 4 and 6 min presets: one pulse every full minute until 2:00 • 60 seconds left: 2 short pulses • 30 seconds left: 3 short pulses • Last 10 seconds: a tick every second • Time up: 3 long pulses Vibration is strong enough to feel through gloves, even when beeps are lost under ear protection. If you connect your headphones to the watch you can hear the beeps. HOW TO USE FLICK TO START START OPTIONS (hold UP on the ready screen) Choose how the clock starts: • Button: press START to start (default) • Arm + flick: press START to arm (one short buzz, "ARMED" on screen), then flick your wrist to start. Handy when your hands are already on the rifle. If no flick comes within 30 seconds, it buzzes twice and goes back to ready. BACK cancels. • Flick: a flick starts the clock straight from the ready screen Flick sensitivity can be set to Low, Medium or High. The watch only listens for a flick while it's waiting to start, never during a stage, so nothing can restart your clock mid-run and battery use stays low. Flick starts are backdated to the moment of the flick, so you don't lose time. Shot Timer uses the watch's motion sensor only to detect the flick. No data leaves the watch. EASY TO READ • Large countdown digits sized for your watch's screen • Progress ring turns from green to yellow (30 s) to red (10 s) • Nothing else on screen while the clock is running CONTROLS • UP / DOWN: choose your par time • START: start, pause and resume • BACK: reset (ignored while running, so a stray press can't stop your clock mid-stage) • Hold UP: start options Shot Timer is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Precision Rifle Series (PRS)
