OPTIONAL AUTHENTICATOR Paste your own Base32 setup secret or supported otpauth://totp URI into the masked Connect IQ settings field. Supports HMAC-SHA1, six digits and a 30-second period. Generate codes offline while awake. Hide, replace or remove the token using settings. Each installed face has separate token storage. Not compatible with Duo Push activation links, proprietary raw DUO seeds, HOTP, SHA256/SHA512, eight-digit codes, custom periods, QR image uploads or authenticator export bundles. Keep a backup authenticator and recovery codes. A visible watch code can be read by others; hiding the code does not lock or erase the token. No Bezel account, subscription, advertisements, analytics or token server. The face clears its own device-side setup input after processing. Garmin's phone/desktop apps and your clipboard may retain their own copies. WEATHER AND CUSTOMIZATION Includes Garmin-supplied weather, configurable data fields, colors and always-on presentation. Weather requires normal Garmin weather synchronization. Physical display brightness remains controlled by your watch and firmware.
