The app shows distance to the line, time to burn and which end is favoured, in degrees and metres Upwind tactics After two tacks the app estimates the wind direction from your close-hauled headings Lift and header shown in degrees, with vibration alerts (two short pulses = lift, one long pulse = header) Last tack angle and VMG, to the wind or to a mark you set Speed Speed over ground in knots, course over ground, max speed Press SELECT to set a mark at your current position. VMG then points to it Your sail is saved to Garmin Connect as a sailing activity. Good to know The wind direction is an estimate from your GPS track. The watch has no wind sensor.
