Pick Sauna, Cold Plunge, or Contrast (alternating hot/cold rounds), press START, and get in. While you're in it: - Big session timer plus a per-round timer, color-coded: orange for heat, blue for cold - Live heart rate and temperature from the watch - BACK starts the next round (and flips hot/cold in Contrast mode) - each round is a lap in the saved activity - Set a target time for each phase (like 15:00 hot / 3:00 cold): the watch gives an unmissable triple buzz when you hit it, and the timer turns green while you push into overtime - No target set? A gentle buzz every 5 minutes keeps you aware of time Afterwards: - START pauses: Resume, Save, or Discard - Saved sessions sync to Garmin Connect named "Sauna", "Cold Plunge", or "Contrast", with heart rate and temperature graphs and a lap per round - Your targets are remembered for next time Records and streaks, on the watch: - Your longest sauna, longest cold hold, and coldest recorded temperature are kept and shown on the start screen for the session type you've selected - Beat one and the finish screen says so - Sessions on consecutive days build a streak, shown right under your bests Honest notes: wrist heart rate is unreliable while submerged in cold water (that's physics, true of every watch app), and the built-in temperature sensor reacts slowly since it sits against your skin - it shows the hot/cold trend, not the exact water temperature. A second screen during a session. Press UP or DOWN to swap between the session screen and a data page: the time of day in large digits, plus your round, total time, temperature, heart rate and battery. Two dots at the bottom show which page you are on. Saving now closes the app for you. The result stays up for a moment, then the app exits and hands your watch back.
