Eat prompts inside your Run activity, timed to your planned run. Free. Idunia Fuel is a data field for the Run activity. Set your planned duration and effort once in the Garmin Connect app, add the field to a data screen, and the watch vibrates at each serving with a prompt that says what to eat and how many grams. The schedule follows the activity timer, so a pause is a pause, and it works inside structured workouts. Before the run, the field shows the plan: when the first serving is due, how often after that, and how many servings to carry. During the run, a countdown to the next one and how many you have had. After the run, a summary, and the prompts are saved to the activity as Connect IQ fields you can see in Garmin Connect. The plan follows published sports-nutrition guidance for carbohydrate during running (ACSM, IOC, ISSN). It uses only the inputs you set: planned duration, effort, how many long runs you have fueled recently, a fasted start, hot conditions, and the carbohydrate per serving of what you carry. The "Use my Garmin profile weight" switch is off unless you turn it on. When it is on, the field reads the weight in your Garmin profile and uses it to adjust the plan slightly.
