A minimalist, elegant, nerdy, typography-focused Garmin Connect IQ watch face that displays the current time with the Digital Rain design in the background. Matrix Time displays the current time as digits with Digital Rain in the background. Note: Due to power constraints on watch faces, the digital rain does not appear to fall smoothly, as watch faces are refreshed once per second. This is the free Lite edition. Matrix Time Premium, the paid edition, adds seven time sizes, a hollow time the rain falls through, left, centre or right alignment, time and rain colours including gradient rain, three trail lengths, a larger always-on time with adjustable brightness, the date, and five preset slots. Every Premium setting can also be changed on the watch.

Fixed: In sleep mode, the screen now stays dark once the sleep-mode timeout has passed, as it does with Garmin's own watch faces. Until now the always-on time stayed on all night. Waking the watch brings the face back, and outside the sleep schedule the always-on screen is unchanged.
