A split-flap flip clock drawn as a comic-book panel: black ink outlines, flat colour, halftone dots and a pop-art sunburst behind it all. A flip clock fills the left of the face, hours and minutes on stacked cards that turn on bolted pivots. Below them a bar shows the weekday, with the day number on a red tab and the month on a cyan plate. A seconds sub-dial beside them counts out the minute, its graduations lighting up as it fills. You can switch it off if you prefer a quieter face. Around the rim, two gauges track step goal above and battery below, each with a 0-100 scale and an outlined needle. Four bolted windows carry steps, distance, body battery and heart rate, labelled in curved hand-lettered type that follows the dial. Body battery can take the lower gauge instead, with the battery moving to its window, and the distance window can show stress or last night's sleep score. The current temperature sits in the centre with a weather glyph beside it: sun, moon, or either behind cloud, chosen from real sunrise and sunset times for your location. THE LOOK Everything is drawn the way a printed comic is: every part outlined in heavy black ink, coloured in two flat tones with a white shine on the edge that faces the light, and shaded with hard-edged shadows printed in halftone dots. The plate is a yellow sunburst that turns to orange dots toward the rim. Every word is hand-lettered with a white outline. The centre is a night-blue panel with a few sparkles around the temperature, and a TICK! burst goes off under the date. The flip cards cast a solid drop shadow onto the plate, and the plate casts shadows into the windows. The colours and the inks on them are matched for you: white print on the dark gauge colours, black on the light ones, light digits on dark cards and dark digits on white. There is no combination of settings that produces text you cannot read. Always-on is a separate dimmed frame that shows the flip clock alone. It is kept within the display's brightness limit, so it stays lit instead of blanking after a few seconds. SETTINGS Flip clock and date colour: white, slate or black. The four data windows follow it.
