This app shows how strong the sun’s UV radiation is in your location now and in the next 24 hours. A glance in your watch shows the current value and category in color, and opening the app shows the number, a short protection tip and the forecast in 3-hour steps. The third page explains the scale from Low to Extreme. The app uses your watch’s GPS position. The UV index data comes from the free Open-Meteo weather service. The watch fetches it through your phone’s connection (or Wi-Fi). About data refresh: Choosing the entry (on Fenix-kind of watch): Holding UP button requests a fresh GPS fix and then refreshes the UV data. A fix that takes longer than 40 seconds falls back to the last stored position. If the watch still holds a preset from an earlier install, it is no longer used. The app uses the last known position, or asks for a fresh fix after 3 hours, because the stored preset has no timestamp.
