Keterangan
Race timing that looks after itself, so you can focus on rowing.
RowRace starts the timer the moment your boat gets up to speed and stops it when you ease off, using GPS. No fumbling for buttons on the start line, no forgetting to stop at the finish.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Open RowRace and wait for the ring to turn green (GPS ready).
2. Press START when you're sitting ready. The screen shows FLAGS UP! and the ring fills as you pick up speed.
3. Row. The timer starts by itself once you're faster than your start split for a couple of seconds.
4. Ease off after the finish and it stops by itself, then shows your piece summary.
5. Press START to save, resume or discard.
ON THE WATER
- Stroke rate (SPM) in big numbers, worked out from your wrist movement
- Heart rate, coloured by your Garmin HR zones
- Time and metres for the current piece
- Live split per 500 m, or speed in km/h
- A ring that sweeps round each minute, and your HR zone at a glance
BUILT FOR TRAINING AS WELL AS RACING
- Auto-resume: after an automatic stop, RowRace waits (AUTO PAUSED) and restarts by itself at start speed, so each piece in a session gets its own time and distance.
- Finish screen: time, distance, average split, average stroke rate and average heart rate for the piece.
- START to stop by hand at any time, or to start early without waiting for speed.
- BACK is locked while you're rowing, so a knock on the button can't end a race.
- If the app closes unexpectedly, your session is saved, not lost.
SAVED TO GARMIN CONNECT
Every session is saved as a Rowing activity with your GPS track, distance, heart rate and stroke rate, ready to review in Garmin Connect or sync to Strava.
YOUR THRESHOLDS
Hold UP (Menu) on the start screen, or use the Connect IQ app on your phone, to set:
- Units: split per 500 m, or km/h
- Start split / speed (default 3:30 /500 m)
- Stop split / speed (default 5:00 /500 m)
- Start delay: seconds above start speed before starting (default 2)
- Stop delay: seconds below stop speed before stopping (default 8)
- Auto-resume on or off
FREE TRIAL
Try 48hr RowRace free. When the trial ends, the start screen shows a short code: enter it at kzl.io/code to unlock RowRace with a one-off payment by PayPal or card, handled by KiezelPay. No subscription. A race in progress is never interrupted.
Works on 100+ Garmin watches, including Forerunner, fenix, epix, Venu, vivoactive, Enduro, MARQ, D2, Descent, Approach and Instinct 3 AMOLED.
Needs GPS, so use it outdoors on the water. Stroke rate is estimated from wrist movement and may vary between watches and rowing styles.
Nota kemas kini
v.1.3.1: Stroke rate now uses the watch's own rowing stroke rate, with a steadier wrist-movement fallback, and time and distance no longer restart on resume.
v1.3.0 (KiezelPay): Free trial, then a one-off unlock: when the trial ends, the start screen shows a short code to enter at kzl.io/code (PayPal or card, handled by KiezelPay). No subscription, and a race in progress is never interrupted.
v1.2.0 (free first upload): First release on this listing. Works on 100+ Garmin watches.
