Eight dials, each with its own metal: Steel Silver, Total Eclipse, Champagne Gold, Yellow Gold, Rose Silver, Rose Black, Glacier Blue and Emerald Gold. SIGNATURE keeps the same case and turns the three sub-dials into live data. 24 hand colours, from Steel and Graphite to Emerald, Cobalt, Sunburst and Magenta, and each sub-dial set independently. THE DATA Every sub-dial can show any of 42 measurements: steps, calories, active calories, distance, floors, intensity minutes, Body Battery, stress, battery, heart rate, Pulse Ox, respiration, altitude, pressure, humidity, UV index, wind, precipitation, notifications, alarms, week number, second time zone, sunrise, sunset, date, weather, weight and sensor temperature, plus 7-day and calendar-week totals. ALWAYS-ON THAT KEEPS ITS COLOURS Most watch faces grey everything out when the wrist drops. This one keeps the hands, the applied indices and their colour, within Garmin's 10% limit on lit pixels and luminance (measured on the full display, hands included: 5.3% and 3.9%). SECONDS HAND: OFF, TICK OR SMOOTH Off, a classic tick once a second, or a smooth sweep updated ten times a second (the default). It runs only while the watch is awake and stops in always-on mode, to spare the battery. EVERY SCREEN SIZE The dial is generated separately for each of the six screen resolutions rather than scaled from one image, so the tachymeter scale, minute track and numerals stay sharp on a smaller watch. 1.3.0 : Smooth seconds hand, updated ten times a second. Choose Off, Tick or Smooth in the settings, on the watch or in Garmin Connect. New Always-on display: the fixed outer dial, the hour indices with their real design and colours, the two dots by 12, and the logo and inscriptions now stay visible in Always-on, in the colours of your dial. New Always-on menu, on the watch and in the phone settings, with two switches: Counters (the sub-dials stay visible; in Heritage style as the decorative dial, in Signature style with their values) and Logo (the logo and the inscriptions underneath). Hand colours are kept in Always-on, and the hour hand now follows the minute hand in Signature style so every hand colour theme looks right. Simpler settings. Now supports the new Garmin fenix 9 family (43 mm, 47 mm and 51 mm Pro). Various technical improvements. 1.2.0 : NEW MEASURES: weekly totals for steps, calories, active calories, floors and distance; plus running distance (week), cycling distance (week), sensor temperature and Active Calories (7 days) — all with their own goal settings and icons. PRESETS: save up to 3 full configurations and switch between them instantly from the menu. ALWAYS-ON, redesigned with two modes: Hours only, or Full data with all three counters shown dimmed at a readable brightness. UNITS, simplified: Distance, Weight and Temperature now offer a direct choice between the two unit systems, instead of following the phone automatically. FIX: corrected the Seconds display setting, which could behave inconsistently. FIX: the Intensity (week) gauge was missing its icon — it now matches Intensity (day) and Intensity (7 days). PHONE SETTINGS CLEANUP: removed a handful of colour options in the Garmin Connect app that had no visible effect on the watch face.
