Night Ops gives your Garmin the character of a field watch: a dark, textured dial, crisp ivory hands and a red seconds hand. Analog time and a clear digital clock sit side by side. No midnight mission required. Three round displays keep your daily numbers close. Set each one independently to heart rate, watch battery, Body Battery, stress, steps, floors climbed, total calories or the date. Repeat a favorite if you like. Progress arcs show supported goals and levels; the calendar marks your place in the current month with a small pointer. The window below the clock can show temperature and weather, UV index, humidity, chance of rain or the next sunrise/sunset. The lower box is for a quick reading: steps, distance, calories, floors, heart rate, battery, Body Battery or stress. Its fixed-size numbers leave room for five digits, whether your day ends at 824 or 18240 steps. Choose Celsius or Fahrenheit and kilometres or miles independently, or let both follow your watch. Digital time uses your watch's 12-hour or 24-hour preference. Change your data fields and units on the watch or through Connect IQ, with settings in English and German. The hands have fine dark outlines to keep them distinct when they cross. The red seconds hand stays on top. Small details, but you look at this thing a lot. Always-on mode pares the face back to dim time, date and simple hour and minute hands. The detailed dial returns when the display wakes. This version is designed for compatible round AMOLED watches. On MARQ models, a roomier layout leaves the hour markings to the watch itself. Instinct Crossover AMOLED uses its physical hands and the matching layout without extra hour markers. Step and floor progress uses Garmin's goals where available. Calories show total calories burned, without a made-up daily target. Available readings depend on your watch, firmware and Garmin data.
