Track elapsed time, distance, pace, heart rate, GPS route, elevation, and calories while recording a standard Garmin running activity. Saved activities sync through Garmin Connect and can continue to services you have linked there. Second Wind evaluates fresh heart-rate and pace readings locally on the watch. When the run begins to deteriorate, the app can provide a discreet vibration, a neutral check-in, and a short action-focused coaching cue. During a high-fatigue intervention, it can guide you toward the top of heart-rate Zone 3 and buzz after you remain at or below the target for ten seconds. The companion Second Wind iPhone app prepares personalized coaching and transfers it through Garmin Connect. After synchronization, coaching remains available on the watch without the phone during a run. General coaching is available when no personalized profile has been synchronized. Second Wind keeps internal fatigue states, personalized coaching phrases, check-in answers, and the athlete's name out of the public Garmin activity file. Optional beta learning-data sharing is off by default and is controlled separately in the iPhone app. Second Wind provides coaching support.
