An isohypse is a contour line on a map. In Isohypse every digit of the time is a summit, wrapped in three contour rings that merge between the digits like real contour lines, on a topographic map background. • TIME AS TERRAIN: big custom digits with three contour rings in fading colours. • MAP LANGUAGE: the date as the map-sheet title, two "spot heights" (▲ ◆) above the time, a three-column legend below, and a classic map scale bar that fills up towards your goal. • MINUTE ROUTE: a dashed trail along the bezel walks from 12 o'clock to the current minute; the current minute tick is highlighted. No seconds hand. • 18 DATA OPTIONS per field: heart rate, Body Battery, stress, steps, distance, calories, active minutes (week), floors, altitude, next sunrise/sunset, battery %, battery days, notifications, temperature, respiration, Pulse Ox, recovery time, week number. Six configurable fields plus the scale bar (steps, calories, floors, active minutes, battery or Body Battery). • THREE PALETTES: Night (black, signal orange), Map (paper topo map, made for sunlight) and Glacier (deep ice blue). Memory-in-pixel watches get exact 64-colour-grid colours; AMOLED watches get richer tints. • ALWAYS-ON (AMOLED): hollow contour-line digits on black, very few pixels lit, shifted every minute against burn-in. • LIGHT ON BATTERY: data is read once a minute; the time block is rendered once a minute and cached. Settings (Connect IQ app on your phone, or on the watch itself): palette, top left/right, bottom left/centre/right, footer, scale bar, time format (system / 12 h / 24 h), leading zero, minute route.
