Rekk is free and ad-free. If it gives you value, buy me a coffee at https://buymeacoffee.com/nordlys Coverage: Entire Norway. Powered by Entur — Norway's public transit data backbone. Rekk answers the one question that matters when you're heading out: will i make the bus / train / subway / tram / ferry? Pull up the app, see the five nearest stops, tap one, and you'll get the next real-time departures with a pace recommendation that says whether you can stroll, walk fast, jog, run, or sprint to catch it. Page 1 — Nearest stops • The five closest stops to your current location • Mode-icon badges (bus, tram, metro, train, ferry) so you know what each stop serves • One-tap filter to show only buses, only trams, only trains, etc. • Walking distance to each stop Page 2 — Real-time departures • The next five departures from the stop you picked • Live (real-time) and scheduled times distinguished at a glance • Line code, destination, and minutes to departure • A coloured pace badge per departure: green = stroll · yellow-green = walk fast · yellow = jog orange = run · red = sprint · grey = too late Page 3 — Route map • Walking polyline from where you are to the stop you chose • Live GPS dot that follows you as you move • Countdown and pace label overlaid on the map Data from Entur (NLOD, free public API). No accounts, no tracking — only your GPS coordinates are sent to Entur to find the nearest stops and departures. Rekk is also available for iPhone: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/rekk/id6771891628

The position header now shows a street address (via Kartverket) instead of an age timestamp — much easier to tell at a glance whether the displayed stops are relevant. The refresh button has moved above the address, centered. Indoor use is smoother: cached positions are shown instantly while a background GPS scan tries to upgrade to a fresh fix. Falls back to coordinates when no address is nearby (e.g. deep in the forest).
