IMPORTANT INFORMATION: If your watch shows IQ! right after this update, switch to any other watch face and back. It happens when Garmin's store updates a face that is running, and it is not a fault of your watch. If it comes back, send me CIQ_LOG.YML from GARMIN/APPS/LOGS through Contact Developer. V4.2 - Added Enduro 4 support. V4.1 - MIP watches (fenix 7, Forerunner 255 / 955, enduro 3 and the solar fenix 8 / 9): the dial is drawn for the panel. The two arc gauges are solid bands, the chart is bars, the sub-dial hands are filled bars, the battery cells are rectangles, and every outline is a pixel heavier. Nothing changes on AMOLED watches. - New cut-out: Grey, a flat wedge with no outline, now the MIP default. Contour and Camouflage stay in the Cut-out picker; a choice you made is kept. V4 - New setting: Layout, Default or Big Time (hides the bell slot), AMOLED watches. Big Time draws the hours and minutes 20% larger inside a taller camouflage cut-out, moves the two data slots down and the seconds and AM/PM to the right. The always-on page follows it. - New theme: Gold, the 12th, a rich gold with its own camouflage. - Removed: the Text size setting. The data slots already step their size to fit the reading, so Normal and Large no longer meant anything. - Every picker in the settings now reads A to Z. The chart sources and the sub-dial keep their order. - FIXED: weekly swim, monthly swim and weekly walk/hike distance read 0 on watches that list saved activities oldest first (the fenix 8 does) once any saved activity was older than 30 days. The history is summed in either order now; a history longer than 200 activities shows a dash rather than a wrong 0. - FIXED: a metric chosen on the phone before the watch had updated could land on a different metric; an unknown choice now takes that slot's default. V3.1 - Heading Compass now on the Enduro 3 too. - Wind sub-dial: N, E, S and W letters on the wind dial, N in red (AMOLED watches). - Bottom data slots: long readings step down a size so they stay inside their slot; a reading too long even at the smallest size drops its unit (for example 1,234 instead of 1,234 m) rather than spilling over. - FIXED: on some watches, the on-watch settings could close with an error after previewing a theme. Pickers in the on-watch settings now open instantly. - FIXED: the battery meter under-filled. A full or nearly full battery now shows all three bars, and the meter keeps at least one bar until the watch dies. - FIXED: resting heart rate could stay on an old number. It now reads your measured resting rate first, so it updates after a sync. - On non-English watches, Training Status now shows the first letters of your watch's own word (for example YLLÄ for the Finnish "Maintaining"). - Steps, steps remaining and wheelchair pushes now show the full count (for example 18,888) in the data slots and the chart; the arcs keep the short "18K" form. - FIXED: Fahrenheit temperatures now round instead of cutting off (11°C reads 52°F, not 51°F). - Barometric pressure and several sensor readings look back over recent history, so they are fresh again after a gap. - The bell slot now shows a dim 0 for a zero notification or alarm count, instead of nothing. - The dial repaints the moment you return to it. - After this update, a future update that installs while the face is on screen will no longer flash a blank or stale dial on the first wake. An update always runs the previous version's code while installing, so the first wake right after THIS update may still briefly show the IQ! screen; switch faces and back to clear it.
