Your album on your Garmin watch: with SnapToWatch, transfer photos, loyalty cards, barcodes, QR codes, tickets, your Parkrun barcode, and anything else you need to show—directly to your watch via Wi‑Fi. One small app for everything. No additional phone app required. Choose images on your phone and adjust zoom and crop to fit your watch display. You decide what appears on the watch. After the transfer, you can browse your saved images directly on the watch. Up to six images are free; after a one-time upgrade you can store up to 500 images on your watch. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open SnapToWatch on the watch and choose “Load photos”. 2. The private upload page opens in Garmin Connect on your phone. 3. Choose your images – up to six for free, up to ten per run with the upgrade. After processing, a preview appears where you can adjust zoom and crop. 4. Choose “To watch”. If SnapToWatch is open on the watch and the watch is connected to Wi-Fi, the transfer starts automatically. If it does not start, choose “Transfer” on the watch. PHOTOS, PICTURES AND CODES Favourite photos, a small photo album or a screenshot with a QR code: SnapToWatch shows your selected images on the watch. QR codes and barcodes are transferred as images. Keep the complete code, including its border, inside the crop. Whether it can be read from the watch display depends on image quality, display and scanner. CONTROLS ON THE WATCH Use UP/DOWN to browse your images. SELECT opens the menu, BACK closes it. If images are already saved, the app opens on the first photo. Without saved images, the menu opens directly. FREE OR UP TO 500 IMAGES You can load up to six images to your watch free of charge, permanently. With the one-time upgrade for €1.99 you can store up to 500 images on the same watch – no subscription. You start the purchase with the button on the upload page; payment is handled securely by Stripe. Each run transfers up to ten images, and you can start as many runs as you like. How many images actually fit depends on the free storage of your watch. When it is full, the watch shows “Storage full”; images already saved are kept. The upgrade applies to the watch you bought it for and requires SnapToWatch version 1.2.0 or later. PRIVACY Your images are processed privately and only for the transfer. After a successful transfer they are permanently deleted from the server, no later than one hour after the upload session starts. The service is used anonymously. For an upgrade, Stripe processes the payment data; SnapToWatch only stores the unlock for your watch. The transferred images remain stored on your watch. REQUIREMENTS You need a compatible Garmin watch with physical buttons and Wi-Fi, plus Garmin Connect on your phone. Touch-only watches and monochrome devices are not supported. Images are transferred over Wi-Fi; transfer over Bluetooth only is not possible. Colours and contrast can look different on memory-in-pixel displays than on AMOLED displays.
