ANT+ bicycle light control utility for compatible touchscreen Edge devices. It uses Garmin's public Connect IQ AntPlus.LightNetwork API to send light-mode commands selected by the user. It does not use Varia radar data, incident detection, threat alerts, or any other safety-awareness function. It does not modify Edge or light firmware. Choose Fast, Medium or Slow and tap Start blink. The utility creates the effect by alternating only the light's supported steady and off modes. Tap Stop blink to return control to the Edge light network. Steady and Light off controls are also available. Setup: Pair the ANT+ light with your Edge normally. Add this Connect IQ data field to a cycling page with a one-field layout. Open that page to start, change speed, or stop. The field may be hidden behind another ride page while running. The selected speed is remembered. Use only one app to control the light at a time. The nominal intervals between changes are 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5 seconds; actual timing depends on the Edge and ANT connection. If the light connection or timing source is lost, the alternating effect stops rather than restarting unexpectedly. This is an accessory-control utility, not a safety-monitoring or threat-notification system. Verify the actual light output before every ride, use any additional lighting required by local law, and do not rely on the app as confirmation that the light is operating. Tested physically with Edge 1040 and Varia RTL516. Other listed touchscreen Edge models passed builds and simulator tests, but their radio behavior with a real light has not been physically verified.
