Surf Dawn is a chronograph watch face for surfers: the sea and the weather of the spot where you are, on your wrist. - Waves: height and period, with a mark showing where the swell comes from, coloured by how it hits the beach (green straight in, yellow diagonal, red side-on). - Wind: speed and direction; green offshore, yellow cross-shore, red onshore. - Tide: a 24-hour curve with the time of each high and low and the current height, from official tide tables where they exist (SOHMA in Uruguay, NOAA, JMA and others). - Water and air temperature, weather icon and UV risk; sunrise, sunset and battery. - More than 2,000 spots around the world. Uruguay's come with the face; the rest download by themselves when you arrive somewhere new. The nearest spot automatically, or a fixed one. - Hands or digital time; four backgrounds (Sea, Night, Graphite, Forest); total waves or swell only; metres or feet; km/h or knots. - Always-on view with waves, wind and the next tide. - With Surf Dawn Forecast installed, hold the face to see the day hour by hour, or the name band to pick a spot. Data from Open-Meteo (wave and wind models chosen per zone), every 30 minutes (every 15 at dawn). Needs the phone connected. - Home time (GMT): when you travel, one more hand shows the time at home. Turn it on in Customize → Home time or on the phone (off by default): one of 21 cities, or "Here" (where the watch is when you pick it), following its daylight saving time. Choose a 12-hour hand with a sun or a moon at its tip, or the classic 24-hour hand over a 24-hour scale on a bezel. It hides when you are home; with digital time, in always-on and on the Instinct Crossover, home time shows as text. - New watches: Enduro 4 and MARQ (Gen 3). - Easier on the battery: the hourly forecast is downloaded every three hours (or when the spot changes) instead of on every update, and each frame does less work. - If a background update gets cut short, the face schedules the next one instead of staying with old data until it restarts.
