THE ORRERY The lower half of the face shows the solar system seen from above at a shallow angle: the sun in the middle, eight orbits and every planet – Earth included – at its true position, computed from Keplerian orbital elements for the current date. Every time the display wakes, the planets sweep in from where they stood 120 days ago and settle at today's positions, so you see the motion of the solar system every time you raise your wrist. THE TIME Three classic dials in chronograph style: the big one in the middle shows the hour and the date, the small one on the right the minutes, the one on the left the seconds (while the display is on). Prefer digits? Switch to the digital style with a large, clean time display. TWO DATA FIELDS Under the dials, two fields you choose yourself: heart rate, steps, battery, active minutes, calories, floors climbed, distance, Body Battery, stress, weather temperature, notifications – or nothing. MORE PAGES (press and hold the display) Moon: phase drawn as a disc, phase name, illumination, age and the next moonrise and moonset. Sky list: which planets are above the horizon right now, in which compass direction and how high, and when they set – followed by the ones below the horizon with the time and direction of their next rise. On these pages an arc across the middle shows the sun (by day) or the moon (by night) travelling across the sky, with the visible planets on their own daily paths, and a footer counts down to the next planet rise or set. DETAILS Positions are calculated on the watch, no phone or internet needed (only the weather field uses the phone's weather). Location for sunrise/sunset and the planets' rise/set times: automatically via GPS or the phone's weather location, or a city chosen from the settings – no continuous GPS use. Everything in white and grays over a black background, with the planets as small illustrated icons. English and German.
