A 24-hour sun dial: see how much daylight is left at a glance, with stress, weather and health always in view. The outer ring is your whole day. Amber is daylight, blue is night, and a sun moves along the ring as the day goes by. After sunset it turns into the moon, showing tonight's real phase. The ring is turned so midday is always at the top. The horizon line between sunrise and sunset therefore sits high in winter and low in summer, and the face changes with the seasons. Always on the face: - Time in a choice of five fonts, 12 or 24 hour - Sunrise and sunset times, and the date - Temperature, place name and rain chance - Stress as an arc, in Garmin's rest / low / medium / high colors - Battery (green, amber or red) and the notification count - Two slots of your choice: heart rate, steps, calories, floors, Body Battery, distance or intensity minutes Everything can be changed in the settings in the Connect IQ app: time format, font, temperature unit, the two slots, what the bottom arc shows (stress, Body Battery or step goal), and whether to show the place name, rain chance, notifications and horizon. About the location permission: Daylight Dial uses your location only to calculate sunrise and sunset. It stays on your watch and is never sent anywhere.
