Apex Grid is a watch face with a cyberpunk look: a large time with 3D depth in magenta and cyan on black, the date, four data fields and an alpine band with mountain silhouette underneath. The alpine band shows a sun arc with sunrise and sunset, a moon with the current moon phase at night, your altitude and the air pressure trend of the last 3 hours. Four data fields show what matters to you. Tap a field on a touchscreen watch and the matching Garmin widget opens. The alpine band is not just decoration, it is information. The sun marks where the sun is right now between sunrise and sunset for your location, so you see at a glance how much daylight is left. After sunset the moon takes over, shown in its real current phase. Altitude and the 3-hour pressure trend (rising, steady or falling) turn the scene into a quick weather and orientation read-out. Everything is calculated from the current time, your position and your watch sensors. The on-watch editor offers a selection of 18 data types; the full list is available in the Connect IQ settings. PERMISSIONS - Location: only used for sunrise/sunset times (and the night mode). The position comes from the watch's weather data, the last activity or the last stored position. - Sensor history: altitude and air pressure trend. - Complications: data fields and tapping to open widgets. Apex Grid does not send any data. Weather-based fields (temperature, wind, precipitation, humidity, daily high/low, feels-like) use the weather data of your Garmin watch.
