Analog is a traditional dial done properly: Roman numerals for the hours, a small running seconds sub-dial at nine o'clock, minute track fine enough to read precisely. Nothing extra, nothing missing. The dial ground is true black so the indices and hands carry all the contrast - on an AMOLED panel that means almost no power draw except where the marks are. Always-on keeps the hour and minute hands with dim marks.
