An analogue watch face built round a cut gem: a crystal of orange, yellow and blue facets in the middle of a dark faceted dial, under two white hands. The gem is three nested twelve-sided layers - an orange band outside, a yellow band, a blue core - each cut into triangular facets that catch the light from the upper left, so the crystal reads as cut rather than flat. The dial around it is cut the same way in shades of near-black, and a minute bezel runs round the edge with a numeral every five minutes, a tick at every other minute and a triangle at sixty. The hour and minute hands are white tapered blades with a dark groove down the middle, each casting a shadow, and a thin orange seconds needle ticks round over them while the watch is awake. The date sits at twelve o'clock. Seven readings stand round the gem, and you choose what each one shows: heart rate, altitude, air pressure, temperature, battery, steps, intensity minutes, floors, calories, distance, body battery or stress. The slots come in mirrored pairs - upper corners, sides, lower corners - plus one at the bottom, and each pair can be switched off together, so the face stays balanced whether you show seven readings or none. Steps, intensity minutes and floors are labelled in the gem's orange, yellow and blue wherever you place them. Always-on clears to true black and keeps the bezel numerals, the outline of the gem and the two hands, dimmed so the display stays lit instead of blanking after a few seconds. SETTINGS Bezel colour: black, orange, yellow or blue. Black is a plain dark ring; the three colours cut the bezel into facets like the gem. Temperature units: follow the watch, Celsius or Fahrenheit. Show upper corners, show sides, show lower corners, show bottom: on or off. Each switches both readings of its pair at once. Upper left, upper right, left, right, lower left, lower right, bottom: the reading in that slot - heart rate, altitude, air pressure, temperature, battery, steps, intensity minutes, floors, calories, distance, body battery or stress. Altitude and distance follow the watch's own units.
