Nine new data fields Sensor temperature, from the watch's own thermometer where it has one. Weekly totals for steps, calories, active calories, distance and floors, counted from Monday. Active calories over seven rolling days. And weekly running and cycling distance. Long press on any field A long press on any data field — left, right, or third — opens the corresponding Garmin analysis screen directly. Same goes for the battery indicator and the notification count in the top bar. Weather Weather is now a full option for all three data slots — left, right, or bottom — just like steps, heart rate, or any other field, instead of being limited to a fixed spot at the bottom. It keeps its familiar icon-and-temperature display wherever you place it. Always-on, now with three modes A dedicated Always-on menu in the main settings lets you choose what stays on screen when the display dims: the time alone, the time with the date, or a full view of the watchface without the background skin. In full mode, all elements are attenuated except the hour, which stays at full brightness regardless of mode. A second setting lets the hour keep its chosen colour or switch to plain white. Units, now fully independent Distance, weight, height and temperature each have their own setting under a new Units section in Display. Previously a single switch changed everything at once; now you can display distance in miles while keeping temperature in Celsius, for example.
