Two time zones is the easy part. What you actually want to know is whether you can call. One glance tells you if it is the middle of their night, without doing arithmetic on your wrist. And when the other zone is on a different day, it says so: 6:50 +1. 4:50 PM Tue 8 Sep --------------- TOKYO 6:50 +1 - A thin 24-hour ring around the edge: day and night in two shades, a dot for home and a line for your time. You can tell if they are asleep before reading a number. Turn it off in the settings if you prefer it plain - Your local time large, the second zone underneath, in Barlow, a typeface inspired by road and transit signs - Sun or moon for the second zone, and you set what counts as daytime there - Half-hour and quarter-hour zones supported: India +5:30, Nepal +5:45, Newfoundland -3:30. Whole hours only would leave out half of Asia - Name the second zone whatever you like, up to ten characters - Dark or light, five accent colours, four ring colours (blue, red and blue, blue and black, brown and gold), 12 or 24 hour - Always-on display keeps both times, dimmed - if you wear this face, the second time is the reason - Asks for two permissions, Background and Communications, which the payment library needs to check your licence. Nothing about you leaves the watch - English and Spanish New: a small extra next to the date - temperature (default), heart rate, steps or watch battery. Change it in Settings. Summer time changes by itself: pick your home city from a list of 50 (New York, Los Angeles, London, Madrid, Mexico City, Bogotá, Tokyo, Sydney…) and the face follows its daylight saving rules. Connect IQ has no time zone database, so the rules are built into the face. For a city not on the list, you can still set the offset by hand. You change all of this in the Connect IQ app on your phone: open this watch face and tap Settings. Updates sometimes add new options, so it is worth a look after one.
