Description

VarTerm is a watch face that turns your watch into a terminal session. Built by Varsuite for developers and anyone who likes a bit of retro tech on their wrist. What it shows • A big dot matrix clock, with unlit dots faintly visible like a real LED panel. Follows your 12 or 24 hour setting. • A powerline style prompt and a blinking cursor while the watch is awake. • Seconds, the date and the ISO week number. • A "stat" readout: battery as a block bar, heart rate, steps against your goal, temperature and a one word weather summary. • Phone connection, notifications, alarm and Do Not Disturb status. On watches with a memory in pixel (MIP) screen the seconds keep ticking in low power too, as long as the watch's power budget allows. On AMOLED watches the always on mode shows small, dim dots for the time and the date only, and shifts slightly every minute to protect the screen. This is a watch face. It does not run commands or connect to a computer; the terminal is the look. Requirements and limits • Weather and temperature need a paired phone that is syncing weather to the watch. Without it they show "--". • Heart rate needs the wrist heart rate sensor to be on. • Temperature follows the unit setting on your watch. • No settings to configure. Privacy VarTerm does not collect, store or send any data. Everything it shows stays on your watch. No account, no ads, no analytics. Price Free, with no in-app purchases. Compatibility Works on the devices listed on this page. Support Support is best effort: send a message with Contact Developer on this page and we aim to reply within a week.
