Description

A watch face drawn like a pea-green handheld LCD, in dot-matrix pixels. The time sits in the middle in large dot-matrix digits, with the date and battery above it. Two rows below the time show the data you pick. At the bottom, a small sun or moon moves along a track above the horizon as the day or night passes. Shows: time, date, battery (percent, plus a gauge on the top edge), the sun or moon's position, and two rows you choose: next sunrise or sunset, alarm, steps, heart rate, Body Battery, calories, notifications, or none. Settings: colors (classic pea green, or dark), the two rows, and a location for sun times, in the Connect IQ app. On newer watches you can also change these right on the watch: hold the face, then choose Customize. Battery: redraws once a minute, with no seconds. On AMOLED watches, a dim always-on version shows the date, time, and sun or moon, lighting only a few percent of the screen. Location: sun times need a location. Pocket uses your watch's last GPS fix or your phone's weather location, or coordinates you type in. Alarm: shows whether an alarm is set. Garmin doesn't let watch faces read alarm times.
