Description

Unofficial Anki flashcard client for Garmin watches. Reviews sync with AnkiDroid on your phone through the Garmanki companion app (Android). The scheduler stays in Anki - the watch shows your due cards and records answers (Again / Hard / Good / Easy), plus suspend, bury, flag and delete. Works offline: answers are queued on the watch and replayed into AnkiDroid at the next sync, then AnkiDroid syncs with AnkiWeb as usual. Requires the Garmanki companion app on Android (available on Google Play; open source). Anki is a trademark of Ankitects Pty Ltd. This project is not affiliated with or endorsed by Ankitects. Limitations & requirements: shows Latin-script text (including Polish), modern Greek and Arabic, including vowel marks (harakat) with the Garmanki companion 1.0.5 or newer. Not yet supported: polytonic Greek, some rare Latin letters and CJK. Tested on the Forerunner 965 only. Requires an Android phone with the Garmanki companion app and AnkiDroid; there is no iOS version. Without them the watch shows no cards.

What is new

- BACK during a review now opens Options: Undo, card actions (suspend, bury, flag, delete) and End session. Holding UP opens the same menu. - After a session, BACK goes straight to the watch face; START returns to the deck list. - New built-in sample deck: 20 Esperanto → English words that work before your phone syncs. You can remove it from the deck list. - Taps and swipes are recognised reliably, and the first-run guide lets you try every button and gesture. - Fix: answers could be lost if the app closed before the phone confirmed them.
