Description

PFD Chronometer brings an aviation-inspired design to compatible round Garmin watches, with two modes in one watch face: EVERYDAY and METAR. EVERYDAY Customize eight information fields through the Connect IQ phone app. Choose date, battery, weekly intensity minutes, steps, heart rate, calories, UTC, distance, floors, weekday or Off. Heart rate and steps use moving tapes with fixed numeric readouts. The heart rate tape includes colored zones and a striped red section above 160 BPM. Step digits turn green when you reach your daily goal. Use Garmin’s goal or set your own. METAR Select an airport using its four-letter ICAO code. View flight category, observation age, wind speed and direction, QNH, visibility, temperature and dew point. METAR fields retain their aviation layout. The last downloaded report remains available during connection errors, with clear missing-data and outdated-report indicators. Optional horizon information shows step-goal progress or Body Battery, plus a sunrise/sunset countdown when available. A white pointer completes one rotation every 24 hours, while the lower arc changes color with the day phase. AMOLED watches include a simplified always-on display. MIP watches retain the full PFD layout in standby. Touch and hold supported EVERYDAY fields to open the corresponding Garmin screen. Available data and shortcuts depend on the device. METAR requires Garmin-supported networking. The artificial horizon is decorative.
