Description

The CHASKi IQ Datafield allows a Garmin device to receive, display and store into a .fit file the Respiratory Rate (RR) from a CHASKi ONE wearable device through a Bluetooth connection. RR (brpm units) is sent through a specific RR_UUID service, and information is displayed in Garmin's screen once per second. Also a RR graph can be displayed in the Garmin Connect Web Platform. As a common IQ Datafield, it has to be installed and selected in the "Data Screen" Settings in the Garmin device. CHASKi IQ can be alone or mixed with other Apps or sensors in the same layout. Any layout that shows the CHASKi IQ title works for storing the RR inside the Garmin device. Once the CHASKi Datafield is active, it will show an "Idle" and "Disconnected" message, which refers to the needed paring period. After some seconds, the mark "--" indicates that RR is being received from the CHASKi device, and the real measurements are being stored and displayed in the screen. As a common IQ App, information like RR in the .fit file is only saved when "start" an activity button is pressed. *known issues* - May experience periodic disconnections on FR955 and FR255 Music devices - Allows only 1 connection per CHASKi, make sure there is only 1 CHASKi close in the pairing step
