Description

PowderFace — snow forecast on your wrist PowderFace is a minimalist watch face built for skiers and snowboarders who want to know at a glance whether it's about to snow at their favorite spot. Time and battery sit front and center, rendered in a crisp icy-blue glow over a stylized mountain skyline. Below, seven columns show the next seven days: the day number is always visible, and a color-coded snowflake appears whenever snow is forecast — light blue for a light dusting, medium blue for a solid day, and bright white (with a soft glow) for a proper powder day. Expected snowfall in centimeters is shown once it crosses a meaningful threshold, so the face stays clean on ordinary days and informative on the ones that matter. Forecast data comes from Open-Meteo for a single fixed location you set once in the Garmin Connect app — your home mountain, not your current GPS position — so it works the same whether you're checking it from the couch or the lift line. Data refreshes automatically once a day in the background. Features Large, glanceable time display with icy-blue glow accent Color-coded battery icon (green / amber / red) 7-day snow forecast strip with day numbers, color-coded snowflakes and cm labels above threshold Fixed "home spot" forecast (lat/lon set from Garmin Connect), independent of your current location Automatic daily background refresh, no manual sync needed Mountain-themed dark AMOLED-friendly background Works on 100+ round Garmin watches (Forerunner, Fenix, Epix, Venu, MARQ, D2, Approach, Descent, Enduro, vivoactive) Set your spot once, then just glance at your wrist to know if it's a powder day.
