Description
Parked the car, pitched a tent, left your friends at a meeting point? Open Return Point, press START, and the place is saved. When it's time to go back, the app shows a big arrow pointing to it, the distance, and a full-screen map with you, the place and a line between you.
SAVE A PLACE
• One big SAVE button. The ring turns green when GPS is ready.
• Weak GPS? The app warns you and saves only on a second press, so a place is never saved in the wrong spot by accident.
• Give it a name right away: type your own on the watch keyboard or pick one: Car, Important place, Home, Tent, Parking, Entrance, Hotel, Meeting point. Or just press BACK and run — it is already saved as "Place 1".
FIND YOUR WAY BACK
• Large name, a big arrow and the distance fill the whole screen: easy to read on the move.
• The arrow uses the watch compass, so it points to the place whichever way you are facing.
• Distance in meters, then kilometers (346 m, 2.4 km, 13 km).
• Closer than 15 m: "YOU'RE HERE" with a check mark.
• Arrow turns yellow while the GPS signal is weak.
FULL MAP
• Press START on a place to open the watch's full-screen map: the place marker with its name, your position and a straight line to it.
• The map zooms so you and the place both fit, and follows you as you walk.
• Press START again to pan and zoom, BACK to return.
YOUR PLACES
• Up to 20 places, newest first. UP / DOWN or swipe to switch between them.
• Hold UP for the place menu: Map, Rename, Coordinates (exact latitude and longitude), Delete.
• Glance in the widget list shows your latest place.
CONTROLS
• START or tap: save (first page) / open the map (place page)
• UP / DOWN or swipe: switch places
• Hold UP: place menu
• BACK: exit
BATTERY AND PRIVACY
• GPS (SatIQ when available) is on only while the app is open and turns off when you leave it.
• The screen redraws only when the arrow actually turns or a new GPS fix arrives.
• Your places are stored only on your watch. Nothing is sent anywhere.
The arrow and line show the straight direction, not a route along roads or trails. Watch for obstacles on the way, and use the watch's own navigation for turn-by-turn routes.
Calibrate the compass in the watch settings if the arrow seems off.
Currently built for fēnix 9 Pro 47mm. Map display needs maps installed on the watch.
