Your watch shows the ambient air temperature. It does not remember it. ThermoJournal saves it with one press of START. Temperature, altitude, pressure and coordinates — with date and time, straight into the watch memory. Free, nothing locked. Support: https://paypal.me/OvApps WHAT ONE PRESS SAVES The app records the watch's own sensors: • Air temperature (°C or °F) • Altitude (m or ft) • Barometric pressure (hPa or inHg) • GPS coordinates • Date and time Measurements group into sessions automatically: a pause of more than 25 hours or a distance over 50 km starts a new one. One day out in the mountains, one morning on the ice, one season of checks by the greenhouse — each reads as a single list instead of forty scattered entries. A THERMOMETER, BAROMETER AND ALTIMETER ALREADY ON YOUR WRIST The thermometer, barometer and altimeter sit right inside the case — the one thing they lack is memory. ThermoJournal adds it: the result is a weather log and a field diary, a simple outdoor temperature logger. One watch instead of a thermometer, a barometer and a notebook — no weather station, no internet. HOW TO TAKE A MEASUREMENT 1. !!! TAKE THE WATCH OFF YOUR WRIST !!! The sensor sits inside the case, so on your wrist it reads your body heat, not the air. 2. Wait 5–10 minutes for the case to cool down. 3. Press START. The measurement is saved to your history. The app records exactly what the sensor reports and adjusts nothing. FEATURES • One press, one record — you choose the moment • Glance card on the watch face: your last measurement — air temperature, altitude and barometric pressure — without opening the app. Requires Connect IQ 4.0 or newer • Two-level history: the list of sessions, then every measurement inside one • Rename a session or a single measurement • Merge a session with an adjacent one, or split one session into two • Delete a measurement or a whole session • Units: metric or imperial • Languages: English, Russian, Ukrainian, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish MADE FOR Hiking and backpacking, mountaineering and ski touring, camping, fishing and hunting, greenhouses and gardens, beekeeping, cellars and storage rooms, off-season running and cycling, expeditions and field notes — and for anyone who wants to know the exact temperature in this spot, at this hour. BATTERY AND STORAGE Battery impact is minimal: the app draws power only at the moment of measurement and does nothing the rest of the time. Records live on the watch itself — no internet and no phone needed. EXPORT TO CSV Open a session, choose Export — and a link arrives on your phone. Follow it, and the CSV file downloads, ready for a spreadsheet. Your measurements are not stored on any server: the web page exists only to build the file. No account, no registration. Free at this stage. Reviews and feature requests are welcome. If something works incorrectly or with errors on your watch, write to us and we will fix it.
