GRID is a bold, unapologetically flat watch face for AMOLED Garmin watches. The time takes two thirds of the screen - hours and minutes stacked in heavy Anton digits that overlap on purpose - and three data tiles fill the rest. Solid blocks, hard edges, no bezels, no gradients. The round screen clips the grid; that's the point. Time - Hours and minutes as two oversized digit rows, minutes in front - Follows your watch's 12/24-hour setting Three data tiles, each with its own icon, pick any of 32 data types: heart rate, steps, calories, floors, intensity minutes, body battery, stress, sleep score, pulse ox, respiration, VO2max (run / bike), recovery time, weekly run and bike distance, race predictor and race pace (5K / 10K / half / marathon), sunrise, sunset, temperature, altitude, sea-level pressure, notifications, battery, date, wheelchair pushes. Battery and body battery render as bars. Temperature, altitude, distance and pace follow your watch's metric/statute settings. Eleven palettes - VOLT, ULTRA, SIGNAL, GRID II, BLOCK, STRIPE, AMETHYST, CORAL, BORDEAUX, BERRY, GRAPE. Set up on the watch - Long-press → Edit. Palette and all three tiles are chosen in the watch's own editor with a live preview - no Connect IQ phone app required. Always-on display - Hours and minutes as outlined digits on black, within Garmin's always-on power budget, with a slow pixel shift to protect the panel. Devices - fēnix 8 47 mm / 51 mm, fēnix 9 Pro 51 mm, Forerunner 970, Venu 4 45 mm, Venu X1 (the rectangular screen shows the full grid). Data comes from the watch's Complications API; the face reads no data of its own and needs no phone connection.
