0.1.39-beta - Fixed: on the License page, "slalomsurfing.app" could show "Connect the phone once" instead of opening the website on your phone. It now always opens the site. 0.1.38-beta - New: best 5 s - the best average speed over any 5 seconds (like 2 s and 10 s), on the Distance page (page 5 while recording, page 4 in View Results) and in Garmin Connect ("5 s"). Page 1 is unchanged. 0.1.37-beta - Licence through the SlalomSurfing app: buy SurfingPRO or RacePRO in the SlalomSurfing phone app - the licence belongs to your account and opens your watch by itself. No code to enter on the watch. - The watch checks its licence automatically: at start and every 30 minutes, through Garmin Connect, and also during a sync in the SlalomSurfing app. After buying, open the app on the watch (or sync in the SlalomSurfing app) - that is enough. - Free beta: the License row shows "Free beta until 1 Jan 2027". The app no longer stops on 30 Nov 2026. - From 3 days before your licence (or the free beta) ends, the watch says "License ends in N days" at start. Without a licence it shows "License expired" as soon as the app opens: no new recordings (your results stay viewable) and Start shows "Locked - no license". - Fixed: the two-line "NO GPS / starts at fix" message could show a wrong character instead of the line break on some watches. 0.1.36-beta - Page 1 shows your distance: NOW and DIST (km; nm when the speed unit is knots) on top, then MAX and 2 s, then 100 m / 250 m / 500 m side by side, then 10 s and 5x10. The numbers keep their size. 0.1.35-beta - Recovery ("s: until back on the plane") is no longer shown, as in the SlalomSurfing phone app: the Turn stats page is now LAP (lap, lap time, lap max); the "rec s" rows of the Jibes / Tacks and Best jibe / Best tack pages and the recovery line after Save are gone. 0.1.34-beta (also includes the never-released 0.1.33) - New jibe score, the same as in the SlalomSurfing phone app (replaces the score of 0.1.32): how fast you get through the jibe and back across the line you came in on, from 125 m before the turn. A jibe you never come back across gets no score. Best jibe is picked by it. - Recovery ("s: until back on the plane") stops at the next turn: on a short course the next turn's speed no longer counts for this one. - The activity file carries, for every second, the exact values the watch used (time, heading, position, heart rate), also in the file synced to the SlalomSurfing phone app - so the phone analyses exactly what the watch saw, even from a Garmin Connect download. The activity file is about 40 % larger. - Garmin Connect shows a lean summary: max, 2 s, 10 s, 5x10, the distances and your gear. Jibe / tack details, the per-turn lap columns and the wind are now in the SlalomSurfing phone app only. Laps stay one per turn. - New: best 1 km. Garmin Connect's distance row is now "100/250/500/1km/Alpha/1h/2h". - The manual wind setting ("Wind from") is removed: the wind is always learned from your turns. - Forerunner 570 (42 / 47 mm) supported. 0.1.32-beta - Best jibe is now picked by an overall jibe score (speed in, slowest point, speed out and how fast you are back on the plane), not by one single value. The best jibe page and Garmin Connect "Best jibe" show it. - Setting "Best turn by" is now "Best tack by": it only chooses the best tack. - Recovery is measured until you are back on the plane (the speed has settled after the turn) instead of until 90 % of the entry speed.
