WC Compass finds the nearest public toilets around you and points the way. SUPPORT THE APP: WC Compass is free and has no ads. If it saved your day, buy the developer a coffee at https://donate.stripe.com/8x2eVd49l37JbY65KI4Ja00 — or hold MENU in the app and the watch sends the link to your phone. Thank you! Press START to search: the app gets a GPS fix, looks up public toilets from OpenStreetMap around your position (your chosen radius, widening to 15 km when few are found) and shows them on a radar: every toilet as a dot around you, to scale and rotated by the compass, coloured green/red by open/closed status. You see at once that three toilets lie the same way and one is across the river. The highlighted toilet shows its distance, name (or a nearby landmark for unnamed ones, e.g. "near: Kaufland"), whether it is paid or wheelchair accessible, and whether it is open now. Pick one and a compass arrow guides you: direction and straight-line distance, updated live as you move. Glance: add WC Compass to your glance loop and see the nearest saved toilet — distance, direction and a bearing arrow — without opening the app. Controls: - UP/DOWN: pick a toilet on the radar - START: navigate to the selected toilet - hold MENU: menu — search again from your current position, or support the app - BACK: go back A phone connection (Garmin Connect app) is required for the toilet lookup. GPS and compass run on the watch itself. Supported watches: Instinct 3 AMOLED 45/50mm, Venu 3 / 3S / 4 / X1, D2 Air X15, vívoactive 5 / 6, fēnix 8 (AMOLED), tactix 8, quatix 8, epix Pro (Gen 2), quatix 7 Pro, tactix 7 AMOLED, D2 Mach 1 Pro, Forerunner 165 / 265 / 265S / 570 / 965 / 970. Distances follow your watch's unit setting (metric or statute). Background refresh (optional, on by default): every 10 minutes the watch checks whether you have left the area of the last search and, if so, fetches the toilets around your last known position, so the glance stays useful without opening the app. Turn it off in the app settings to save a little battery. Toilet data (c) OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL), queried via the Overpass API. Data completeness varies by region — you can improve it by mapping toilets in OpenStreetMap.

Version 1.8.1 — hold MENU now opens the same menu on every screen (start, radar, arrow): "Search again" or "Support the app". Opened from the glance the app lands on the radar right away, so the start-screen menu was hard to reach.
