Description

Countdown Alarm (from Alarm for Garmin) shows what Garmin's alarm never does: how much sleep you'll actually get tonight. At 10:45 PM, the built-in alarm says 6:30 AM. You do tired mental math. That's how people accept 5–6 hours and pay tomorrow with low energy, weaker workouts, and brain fog. Countdown Alarm on your wrist: • Rings in 7h 45m — real rest until wake-up • 7h 45m rest live while setting alarm — catch a short night before it's too late • Quick presets, snooze, vibration, bedside dim mode Adults need ~7–9 hours. The decision happens in the evening. This app makes it obvious. 7-day free trial on your watch, then $9.99/month at alarmforgarmin.com (scan in-app QR). Same app on Garmin store and website. Leave app open overnight for guaranteed ring (bedside mode). Privacy: alarm data on watch only. Anonymous device ID for subscription check.

What is new

Settings are now reachable on touch-only watches (Venu, Vivoactive): press and hold the idle screen to open Settings, Night log and Diagnostics. Version 1.8 also fixed sleep tracking: the app no longer records a hidden activity while the alarm is armed, so sleep stages, HRV Status and Body Battery work normally with the countdown open overnight.
