Description

Krava is for squads that run the same short drill again and again: everyone leaves the start line together, runs out and back, and lines up in the order they finished. HOW IT WORKS - Stand in the line and press START once, before the first go. Krava records a normal running activity and uses the spot where you pressed START as the line. - Every time you go out and come back, that is one round. The watch vibrates once and asks: where are you in the line? - Press UP or DOWN (swipe on touch watches) to set your place, and START to save it. The number is grey and says "not saved" until you press START. BACK skips. - If you have not answered, the watch reminds you with a double buzz every few seconds while you are still at the line. - Check in on the Race tab of the Krava app at the line before you start, then open Krava on the watch: the start screen shows how many checked in, and the place picker only goes up to that number, so nobody can enter a place that does not exist. - When you walk away from the line, the watch gives a short tick and the round is locked. A place can only be entered at the line, straight after the round, when the squad agrees the order out loud. A round with no place says so on the screen and is ranked by GPS arrival instead. - The main screen shows the rounds done, the round you are on, your average place over the last three rounds, and how far you are from the line. - Press START and confirm to finish and save. BACK and LAP do nothing during a drill, so a mis-press cannot end it. A drill with no rounds is discarded instead of cluttering your activities. AFTER THE DRILL Link your watch once and every saved drill goes to Krava by itself, through the Garmin Connect app on your phone. The first time you press START, the watch shows a short code: type it in the Krava app under Link your watch, or at https://neilut.app/link. Press START again to record without linking; that drill stays on the watch. Hold UP (MENU) to unlink. Krava builds the race and the squad's ratings from everyone's drills. REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITS - The watch app records the drill and your places without a phone. Sending a drill needs the Garmin Connect app on a paired phone. Race results and ratings need a free Krava account, open to anyone at https://neilut.app - GPS is needed: indoors or on a treadmill no rounds are counted. - Places can be entered for up to 40 rounds per drill, from 1st to 12th, or up to the number checked in. - Uses no sensors beyond GPS and no ANT+ or Bluetooth devices. PRIVACY Krava records your GPS position during the drill, like any Garmin running activity, and adds the round number, the farthest distance from the line and your place to the activity file. If you link the watch, each saved drill is sent to Krava's server through Garmin Connect; the server keeps only the per-round summary and deletes the GPS track. Unlinked, nothing leaves the watch except through your own Garmin sync and export. Privacy policy: https://neilut.app/privacy SUPPORT [email protected]

What is new

The app is called Krava again, with its K logo. Check in on the Race tab of the Krava phone app at the line: the watch shows how many checked in, and the place picker only goes up to that number.
