Description

VOICE REPLIES FROM YOUR WATCH. Your Garmin can do canned replies. Now it can do voice. Someone messages you? Read it on your watch, hit reply, and speak. Your phone transcribes your voice on-device and sends the response — phone stays out of sight. Works with WhatsApp, Slack, email, and anything else that sends notifications. Most notifications don't need a reply — they need a glance and a dismiss. Check your watch for less than a second, see it's just your mates in a group chat, and you're back to what you were doing. No unlock, no phone in hand, no distraction spiral. Reply when it matters. Triage everything else. REPLY BY VOICE Reply to most notifications — speak your reply, and it's sent. Works best with Bluetooth headphones — tap your watch, speak into your headset mic, done. • Reply to WhatsApp messages, Slack channels, emails • On-device speech-to-text — your words never touch a server • Phone stays in your pocket, bag, or on a desk nearby YOUR MESSAGES STAY ON YOUR DEVICES • No cloud servers — your messages never leave your phone and watch • No accounts required — install and go • Voice transcription runs entirely on your phone • Privacy policy: https://untether.watch/privacy NOTIFICATION INBOX Every notification your phone receives arrives on your watch. Emails, messages, Slack channels, WhatsApp chats — tap any item to read the full content, with sender name, app source, and message preview. GLANCE WIDGET See how many new notifications are waiting without opening the app. Unread count and latest source, right in your widget loop. WORKS WITH ANY APP Gmail, Outlook, WhatsApp, Slack, Telegram, Signal, Teams, Discord — if it sends a notification on your phone, you can read and reply from your watch. What is new

Reply to WhatsApp, Slack, email, and more — by voice, from your Garmin. No phone needed. • Voice reply to any notification • On-device speech-to-text — nothing leaves your devices • Notification inbox with sender, app, and full message • Glance widget showing unread count • Works with any Android app that sends notifications • Now available in German 14-day free trial. $9.99 one-time or $2.99/mo after. --- v0.0.16 - Fixes the app crashing with an exclamation mark every time you opened it after updating to 0.0.15, if you had a lot of messages stored. The first time you open the app after this update it finishes moving your messages over, which can take a few seconds, so give it a moment. Messages caught up in the crash are recovered where possible, though some older ones may be gone. v0.0.15 - New messages now show up in the inbox the first time you open the app. Before, a message that arrived while the app was closed could stay missing until you'd reopened it a few times. Your existing messages carry over when you update. Also fixes a cause of messages appearing twice, and a crash on the voice reply screen on watches low on graphics memory (often due to a busy watch face): the screen now shows the logo instead of the animation, and recording works as normal. v0.0.14 - Fixes a crash that could stop Untether Comms — and sometimes other Connect IQ apps — from opening until the watch was restarted. It happened when the phone's reply arrived while the glance was on screen. If you've seen "Unable to Open App", this release is for you. v0.0.13 - Bug fixes and performance improvements. Adds support for the fēnix 9 family, Forerunner 70/170/170 Music, and D2 Mach 2 and Mach 2 Pro. v0.0.11 — Display errors when sending notification replies v0.0.10 — Updated onboarding flow - made explicit Untether Comms does not work with iOS v0.0.9 — Fixed memory issues. Notifications are now capped at 100 with automatic cleanup. Inbox loads faster with paged scrolling. Settings menu accessible by scrolling up from the inbox. Improved reliability when toggling between chronological and grouped views. Notifications slicenced during sleep. v0.0.8 — Improved menu UI v0.0.6 — German language support v0.0.5 — Improved voice input UX, notification settings v0.0.4 — Fixed startup crash with large notification backlog v0.0.3 — Button hints for improved UX v0.0.2 — 122 devices supported, setup bug fix v0.0.1 — Initial release
