Description

A data face that reads like an instrument: big time, labeled rows, and your whole day on one line. The time sits large in the middle, with the date and battery above it and up to three rows of your choosing below. Each row has a label on the left and its value on the right. Steps, Body Battery and battery also draw a bar that fills as the number rises. Under the rows, a line shows the whole day from midnight to midnight: the thick part is daylight, the colored mark is now, and the time under it is the next sunrise or sunset. The arc along the top edge is the battery, one segment for every 10%. Shows: time, date, battery, today's daylight, the next sunrise or sunset, and up to three rows you choose: steps, Body Battery, heart rate, calories, notifications, battery, alarm, next sunrise or sunset, or none. Settings: theme (light, dark, or grey), accent color (10 choices), the three rows, and a location for sun times, in the Connect IQ app. On newer watches you can also change the theme, color and rows right on the watch: hold the face, then choose Customize. Battery: redraws once a minute, with no seconds. On AMOLED watches, a dim always-on version shows the time and the day line, lighting only a few percent of the screen. Location: sun times need a location. Ledger uses your watch's last GPS fix or your phone's weather location. Until it has one, the sun time reads --:--. Alarm: shows whether an alarm is set. Garmin doesn't let watch faces read alarm times.
