Description

Waypoint is an analogue GMT watch face. An orange 24-hour hand tracks a second city, and the ring it points to is split into day and night — so you can see whether it is a decent hour to call, not just what the clock says. THE DIAL • 24-hour ring: light from 06 to 18, dark through the night • Orange marker at 24, pointed hands with a lume slot, a full minute track • The second city's code and time sit at twelve, in the accent colour • A window at three carries the date, or a reading you choose SECOND TIME ZONE • 20 cities, each following its own daylight-saving rules — set London in March and it moves itself, no offset to edit twice a year • Choose the city on the watch, or from Garmin Connect on your phone THE WINDOW AT THREE • Press and hold the middle of the dial to step through: date, steps, heart rate, Body Battery, battery, calories, stress, pulse ox, floors, intensity minutes • Press and hold the window itself to open that reading's Garmin app • Your choice is remembered EIGHT PALETTES • Orange, Red, Yellow, Lime, Cyan, Blue, Stealth, Mono • Accent, ring and numerals move together, so every palette still reads as the same face ALWAYS-ON • A dimmed version drawn from the same geometry, respecting the display's burn-in protection
