Description
Retro instrument-panel digital face with a heart-rate dial and segment bars.
Signal Box borrows from old control panels and is made for everyday and outdoor wear: a heart-rate dial with its own ring, a date block, a wide tabular time, two labelled segment bars and a row of block gauges along the lower rim.
On the screen:
* Heart-rate dial. The ring shows how close you are to your maximum heart rate.
* Date block with the current temperature and conditions.
* Large time, outlined minutes, accent seconds in active mode.
* Two segment bars, steps and battery days left unless you change them.
* Two block gauges on the rim, Body Battery™ and stress by default.
* A footer line, sunset by default.
Seven slots can be changed from your phone: the dial, the weather line, both bars, both rim gauges and the footer. Most of them can also be switched off. The list of data covers steps, distance, calories, floors, intensity minutes, weekly run and bike distance, recovery time and VO2 max; heart rate, resting heart rate, Body Battery™, stress, Pulse Ox, respiration and sleep score; battery, battery days, notifications and alarms; altitude, pressure, temperature, feels-like, humidity, wind, rain chance and weather; sunrise, sunset, daylight left, moon phase and solar intensity; ISO week and a second time zone. Not every slot takes every item, and your watch model decides what is available.
Settings
Theme: Original, Cyan, Lime or Mono.
Time: 12 h, 24 h or as set on the watch; leading zero for 12 h; seconds on or off.
Date: TUE 14 OCT, 14 OCT TUE, TUE 10/14 or 2026-10-14.
Always-on: Rich, Minimal or Time only.
Units: as on the watch, metric or imperial. First day of week: as on the watch, Monday or Sunday.

Touch watches: touch and hold a field to jump to the related screen on the watch.
In always-on mode the face is dimmed and reduced, updates once a minute, and moves slightly from time to time to look after the AMOLED screen and the battery. Seconds only show in active mode.
Limits worth knowing: weather is whatever your watch last synced from the phone ("--" without a recent sync). All settings live in the phone app (Connect IQ Store or Garmin Connect); there is no on-watch menu yet. Data your watch does not record shows "--". Touch and hold needs a touch screen (Venu® 4). Health values are for information only, not for medical use.
Compatible watches: Venu® 4 41 mm, Venu® 4 45 mm, Instinct® 3 AMOLED 45 mm, Instinct® 3 AMOLED 50 mm, plus the D2™ Air X15, which uses the same profile as the Venu® 4 45 mm.
Privacy: Signal Box collects no data. It has no internet, background or location permission and nothing leaves your watch. Permissions used: Complications (show data the watch already provides and open the related screen), User profile (resting heart rate, heart-rate zones), Sensor history (fallback readings such as Body Battery™ and stress history).
