Description

Witching Hour turns your Garmin into a Halloween night: a huge amber full moon, a black witch on a broomstick crossing it, and a dark indigo sky filled with bats and twinkling stars — all behind a big, outlined time display. The whole scene is drawn with polygons, not a bitmap. It uses almost no memory, adapts to any screen resolution, and stays light on the watch. On AMOLED displays the night looks rich; on 64-color MIP displays the palette quantizes correctly so the scene stays crisp instead of muddy. Time is large and readable, with dark halos so the numbers stay legible over the moon. Below the clock you get the date and a stats row: heart rate, steps, and battery with charge level. While the watch is awake, the stars twinkle. Always-on AMOLED devices get a burn-in-safe low-power screen: dim time and date plus a small moon-and-hat glyph, jittered every minute. No settings to configure. Fully offline. No permissions beyond standard sensors. The face itself shows only numbers, so it works in any locale. Supported devices: fenix 7 / 7 Pro, epix 2, venu 2 / 2 plus / 3 / 3s, Forerunner 955 / 965.
