Description
ApexMetrics is a premium watch face for round Garmin devices that combines a high-contrast digital time display with two interactive dials (Heart Rate and Steps by default), an upper temperature complication, a central battery indicator, and lower telemetry slots.
Key features:
Heroic digital time with date line, centered for maximum legibility
Dual Apex dials with progress arcs (left/right metrics configurable via settings)
Temperature complication with hot/cold/neutral indicator icons
Battery indicator with charge bolt display
60-minute bezel with major/minor tick marks (#aed806)
Lower telemetry slots for additional metrics (calories, distance, etc.)
AOD (Always-On Display) support with eco/minimalist mode and burn-in protection shift
Multilingual support (English/Spanish)
Theme customization with multiple color palettes
Designed for round AMOLED/solar devices (fr970, fenix, epix, marq, enduro, instinct, descent series)
The design is optimized for 454×454 px round screens with transparent backgrounds and vector icons.
All data comes from the device sensors (no external data is collected).
What is new
New update for ApexMetrics!
We listened to your feedback and made the watch face work better on every Garmin watch. Here's what's new:
For all watch sizes:
Better layout that fits perfectly whether you have a small or large watch face
Fixed the time display so it's properly positioned and easier to read
Fixed the bottom information slots so they show the right metrics from the app
For smaller watches (Forerunner 245):
Redesigned proportions so icons and text are the right size — no more oversized elements
Battery percentage now displays correctly without overlapping the icon
Heart Rate, Battery and Steps are neatly aligned in a clean row
For larger watches (Forerunner 970, Fenix 8):
Optimized to take full advantage of the high-resolution screen
Battery icon slightly larger for easier daily reading
Time and dials properly positioned so the design "breathes" better
Bug fixes:
Fixed an issue where the watch face would go blank during Sleep or Always-On Display on MIP screens (fēnix 8 Solar)
All Connect IQ App settings now work live — custom metrics, themes and language all apply properly
Thank you for helping us make ApexMetrics better!
