Description

Golden Reticle is a precision watch face built around a four-layer golden crosshair — deep amber at the edges, bright gold at the core — set against a near-black canvas. Inspired by the reticle of a surveyor's scope, it is clean, bold, and unmistakably distinct. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Buy a Coffee !!! Crafting great designs takes time; keeping the lights on takes coffee. Inside, six metrics are laid out with no clutter: Time — Large 12-hour display with AM/PM, kerned as one unit Date — Day, date, and month near the top Steps — Centred on the horizontal crosshair bar Heart Rate — Live BPM from your wrist sensor Floors Climbed — Tracks your vertical effort Active Minutes — Weekly intensity minutes Battery — Always visible percentage ALWAYS-ON DISPLAY On AMOLED devices, sleep mode drops to pure black with white time only. Black pixels on AMOLED consume no power — AOD costs your battery almost nothing. BUILT FOR EFFICIENCY All geometry, font metrics, and layout positions are calculated once at startup. The per-minute update does only what is strictly necessary — no redundant calculations, no unnecessary allocations. The date string is cached and rebuilt only at midnight. COMPATIBILITY Supports 160+ devices: fēnix 6–8, epix Gen 2, Forerunner 245–970, Venu 1–4, vívoactive 4–6, Instinct 2–3, MARQ Gen 1–2, D2, Descent, Enduro, and Approach families. Requires Connect IQ 3.2 or later.
