Description

+++++ PLEASE READ THIS ADVISORY Never make a medical decision based on a reading that you see on this app e.g. your watch. Always perform a fingerstick blood glucose check first. +++++ Readme with detailed explanations and bug report: https://github.com/swissalpine/GARMIN-xDrip-Spike-Nightscout-Watchface/ It is highly recommended to inform yourself there about the setup and possible problems! +++++ xDrip-Spike-Spike-Nightscout-Watchface gets your CGM bloodglucose readings directly to your wrist! This watchface displays the time and date, your last blood glucose reading including a graph, the trend and age of the last reading, your daily steps including a step related progress bar, your actual heartrate (if enabled in the settings of your device), a notification count and alarm count. Additionally if you have closed the loop with AndroidAPS it shows your loop status. Please note: It is no longer possible to display the AAPS loop status via xDrip+. Use the source AAPS instead of xDrip+ (settings)! There are four phone synchronization possibilities: xDrip+ (Android only, no internet connection required) AAPS (Android only, v3.2.0.4 and newer, no internet connection required) Spike (iOS only, no internet connection required) Nightscout (cross-platform, internet connection required). What is new

PLEASE NOTE If you install / update the watchface and it isn't working out of the box, please update your settings via Garmin Connect Mobile App. --- Loop status: Change data source xDrip+ to AAPS: It is no longer possible to display the AAPS loop status via xDrip+. Use the source AAPS instead of xDrip+ (settings)! To do this, activate the Garmin plugin in AAPS, but do not define a request key (leave the field blank). --- The watchfaces uses a background process which isn't availlable on older devices and which can be triggered at least every five minutes. The watchface tries to get as close as possible to the time of the last measurement. So it may happen that you have to wait up to 10 minutes from one reading to the next one. If this is the case you will see a watch icon on the datafield. --- If you think the syncronisation between the app and your data source isn't perfect adjust the delay in the settings. --- CHANGELOG v4.47 - Support for new devices (frx70, fenix9 u. a.) v4.46 - Fix SGV values in mg/dl with decimal fractions, remove deprecated AAPS status warning v4.40 - Send steps to AAPS v4.34 - Support for new devices (Venu 4) V4.33 - Support for new devices (Fenix 8 microLED) v4.32 - Support for new devices (fr570, fr970, vivoactive 6) v4.31 - Low power mode: Add date v4.30 - xDrip+ status line (loop data from AAPS) is deprecated! v4.27 - Code changes v4.26 - Support for new devices (Instinct 3 Amoled, due to the display covers, other Instinct watches are not supported) V4.25 - Support for new devices (fenix 8) V4.24 - Support for fr165 V4.23 - Prepare AAPS update V4.22 - Fix Nightscout with token request V4.21b - Fix iob and cob not shown (Spike) V4.20 - Support for direct requests to AAPS (works with dev build after 12/01/2023) V4.13 - Support for Fenix 7 pro solar V4.12 - Design optimization for very large amoled displays, prevent out of memory issues on older devices V4.11 - Support for new devices (vivoactive 5, venu 3/3s) V4.10 - Optimizations of the delay function V4.05 - Support for new devices (Epix Pro Gen2, Fenix 7 Pro etc.) V4.04 - Fix bug if timestamp is formatted as float instead of long V4.03 - Avoid redundant caching V4.02 - Fix: reactivation of the approximation to the time of the last measurement V4.01 - Try to fix a rare bug (only one bg reading was sent) V4.00 - Measurements are accumulated with each query (useful if minute-by-minute measurements are transmitted) V3.98.1 - Lighter gray in lower power mode to increase readability V3.96b/c/d/e - Support for new devices (f.e. vivoactive hr, fr 965) V3.96 - Support for Forerunner 55 V3.95 - Support for Venu 2 sq, bigger icons for high resolution displays V3.91 - New setting: Disable the approximation of the time of measurement (not recommended, but helpful if the algo can't adjust the time of the request) V3.90 - Support for new devices (Forerunner 955 series, Edge 1040 series) V3.81 - Format Spikes IOB without decimal digits V3.80 - Spike App: Show IOB and COB (TBR isn't supported afaik) V3.75 - Try to fix the problem of missing data if the watchface was not active for a while (code from Vaughanabe13) V3.70 - Swap Icons and Text for steps / stairs Up / heartrate, exchange some icons (@Trenar) and introduce icons for AAPS status (@swissalpine) V3.60 - Possibility to secure Nightscout with a readable token; alarm clock icon to show active alarms (all credits for these extensions to Trenar!)
