Description

Somebody has moved onto your wrist. ———————————————————————— Duckling · Bear cub · Rabbit · Penguin ———————————————————————— In the morning it is still asleep, curled into a ball. Five hundred steps later it yawns and opens one eye. By lunch it is sitting up, watching everything. And by evening, if the day went well, it beams. Five moods, and every one of them is your doing. WHO WAKES IT You do. Your steps — or Body Battery, if that is more fun. How many steps make one level is up to you: anywhere from a hundred to ten thousand. Set 2500 and pure delight lands exactly at ten thousand. Set 100 and it will be bouncing before breakfast. PICK YOUR COMPANY The duckling is yellow and loud. The bear cub is calm and solid. The rabbit's ears are longer than the rabbit. The penguin sleeps better than all of them. One lives on the screen, the others wait their turn in settings. WHAT ELSE IS THERE — Big warm time, and the date above the animal — Underneath, whatever it is watching: BB 92 or STEPS 1000 — 12 or 24 hours, straight from the watch — Settings and weekday labels in English and Russian — At night the animal goes to sleep and only the outlined time stays HONESTLY: IT IS A GAME We made the levels up so there is something to play for. They are not an activity target and not a medical scale — nothing inside says how many steps anyone ought to walk. And if Body Battery is unavailable, the watch says exactly that: BB --. The animal stays calm instead of pretending everything is splendid. Bought once and that is it. No subscription, no trial that runs out, no activation code.
